This course is designed for code officials, authorities having jurisdiction, architects and design professionals and provides information on UL fire-resistance-rated designs that can be utilized to achieve safe, code compliant installations.

Participants will learn what fire-resistive-rated construction is and, where it is used, the building code requirements for fire-resistance-rated construction, and how assemblies are tested to establish an hourly rating. Participants will also learn how to locate suitable fire-resistance-rated constructions using the UL Online Certifications Directory.

• Access and locate construction-rating information found on the UL Online Certifications Directory.
